Over a quarter of a century of experience and a state of the art machine park makes MetalTech a solid partner. After a number of successful ventures in, amongst others, plastic tubs, diving lamps and mechanical engineering for the bread industry, we are currently keeping ourselves busy with two causes: production of precise mechanical parts, largely according to client specifications, and production and sales of Topsealmachines.
The conquest of Europe
In 1983, MetalTech started out as a turning, milling and engineering company and tool shop. Back then we were still established in Nederhorst den Berg. Many machine producers and other industries indicated requiring metallic or synthetic parts that they themselves could not produce with the correct speed and precision. As such the focus of MetalTech was soon directed at the cutting-edge work. In 1985, two years later, we procured our first CNC-machine, the start of computer-controlled turning and milling.
In 1996 we moved to our current location in Weesp where, currently, the shop floor covers roughly 1400 m2. Till this day, all of our products roll off the line here and MetalTech provides for large and small clients at home and abroad. In particular our clients are located in the Benelux, Germany and England.
Our management
The two directors are men from the very beginning, who previously established the company with their partners. Cor van der Werf and Peter van Leeuwen manage the company together and know each other practically all their lives. Cor epitomizes the Topsealmachines arsenal, while Peter is responsible for the precise mechanical parts.
