Tijdens ieder seizoen werken de teams aan een innovatieproject, waarbij aan de hand van de ontwerpcyclus een probleem uit de praktijk moet worden onderzocht en opgelost. Daarnaast leren de kinderen hun eigen robot te bouwen en te programmeren om hier vervolgens verschillende missies mee uit te voeren in een robotwedstrijd. De teams doorlopen beide onderdelen aan de hand van het aangeboden lesmateriaal.<\/p>\n<p>Elk jaar heeft\u00a0<em>FIRST<\/em>\u00a0LEGO\u00a0League Challenge een andere uitdaging. Het thema van dit seizoen (2023-2024) is<a href=\"https:\/\/firstlegoleague.nl\/masterpiece\">\u00a0MASTERPIECE<sup>SM<\/sup><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Peter van Leeuwen, directeur van MetalTech, fungeert deze regiofinale als een van de juryleden. MetalTech vindt het belangrijk dat techniek onder de aandacht wordt gebracht bij de jeugd.
